BEAUTY | Visiting the Leeds LUSH Spa

Leeds LUSH Spa Treatments

Hello lovelies!

I just want to say thank you so much for the lovely feedback on my previous post, I really really needed that! If you haven’t read it already, you can find it here. I just want to SQUEEZE you all so so so much, you have made me feel all warm inside.

Todays post is about a company that is rather close to my heart, and OH I am very sure you are aware about how much love I have for this brand… (I might talk about it a lot, and post lots of pictures on Instagram, sorry, not sorry) …….and that brand is LUSH

For those of you that know how much I love Lush, then you probably know exactly how excited I was to be invited to an event at Lush in Leeds! FINALLLLY, I think Rhianna and I have been tweeting the Lush lovelies for quite some time now, and finally. YES. SUCCESS.

So, we were invited for an event of giggles with lots of other lovely local bloggers, and the chance to take a little sneak peek at the Leeds Lush SPA. After squealing for a good hour or so, I of course replied YESSSSSS.

On the day I met up with Rhianna, Hayley and Jenna beforehand, and we had a delicious meal at Black Swan. Let’s just say we got a little bit carried away, yano, an eyes bigger than our stomach kind of situation. But that’s okay, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the company. Off we then went to the event! (After a few vlogging attempts in the street, Oh YES professional vlogger over here…..)

Once we arrived, all us bloggers began snapping away, I mean, hey what else were we going to do when we were set loose in Lush? I would have liked to have had a bath and chucked every single item in, but yano, couldn’t do that. There is always one person who shows up to an event, either forgetting their memory card or battery, or forgetting to charge their camera.

I was the silly sausage that didn’t charge their camera, and as soon as I started to get snappy, my camera started flashing red. So what did I do? I frantically moved around the store trying to get as many photos as I could, prosecco in hand an all. I have skills. So bare with, if the photos aren’t of excellent quality – I was being a speedy mrs ok!

The staff were particularly excited about their new store refit, which included these gorgeous wooden structures – it really did look fab! Obviously had to get a picture of my ultimate FAVE product, the comforter. I swear I need a year supply of these. They smell like you could eat them. But I wouldn’t give that a go, if I were you.

The store was in full spirit, with a lovely musician playing live in the background. Lots of chats with all the bloggers, as well as the lovely Leeds staff. We had the chance to make our own Butterball Bath Bomb! And by make… I don’t mean physically make the ingredients, but it was cool to see how they make their ’round shape’ Who would have thought they were made by placing two plastic filled moulds together? This was much harder than I thought it would be… won’t be quitting the day job then! Opps!

It was time to visit the SPA! I had heard of their spa before, but never had the luxury to see it, let alone have a treatment down there! Because it is Lush, you would expect the standard to be high. First off, in the consultation area, they provide guests with some beautiful mini nibbles – being bloggers, we all had to get photos of these before tucking in! (Yes, myself and Rhi still managed a few nibbles, even though we were SO FULL earlier, but I can’t resist a cupcake)

This is one of their treatment rooms, I think it might be ‘The Comforter’ treatment, which involves a warm chocolate scrub I believe? Or something like that?! I stopped listening at the word chocolate, and just imagined being massaged with chocolate! MmMmM.

All of the treatments sounded absolutely divine, each and every one of them. I remember being stood there like yep, I could have that, and that, and that. The only problem is the price, it really is a TREATment, but I do think you totally get what you pay for. The spa treatments sound one of a kind, and aim to completely refresh and heal the mind and body, through their techniques and use of sound.

Now, isn’t this the BEST SHOWER you have ever seen? Look at all the choices you have! It is literally body cleaning, shower power heaven! I’d put a snow fairy on my top body, the comforter on my arms, Happy Hippy on my legs… you get the picture. Wouldn’t you smell FAB.

I think I was in complete awe after visiting the spa, I am absolutely desperate to have a treatment soon, I REALLY need to de-stress at the moment, I have so so much tension in my shoulders. I think I am going to ask my parents for a treatment for a little birthday treat in March, this girl has to hand in her dissertation a week after her birthday here… It will DEFO be needed! The treatment that I liked the sound of the most was ‘The Comforter’ yes, the chocolate one. (The website doesn’t appear to be working at the moment, but when it does, I will be able to describe it in more detail, with lots of lovely adjectives that will make you want to go too)

At the end of the night we were kindly gifted a few amazing Christmas goodies! Which I totally didn’t expect! I also might have accidentally picked up a few other items to buy.. it was definitely an accident. Also, to the lovely lady who gifted me a small Rose Jam shower gel because I mentioned how much I wanted to try it, but because I recently handed in my notice in at my job I felt I should probably be saving my pennies – bless her, thank you 🙂

I had an awful lot of fun at this event I did! Thank you very much for inviting me Lush 🙂 If you want to see this fabulous evening in more detail, you can find it featured in my latest weekly vlog which will be up SOON!

Hope you enjoyed this post lovelies, you really can’t go wrong with a Lush post. Would you like to visit a Lush Spa? There are spas in Liverpool, Leeds and London (I think) IT’S NEARLY CHRISTMAS! YIPPEEEE! Hope you’re as excited as I am. I am also extremely delighted for 2016, the year of my graduation, big life changes are coming and I couldn’t be more excited!
