BLOGMAS #4 | A little bit of Bourjois Magic

 Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover

Hello Lovelies! Welcome to BLOGMAS post #4

If you follow me on Instagram (@veryberrycosmo) you may see I am a little addicted to my nail varnishes... particularly Barry M (I still haven't tried Essie, but I really do want / need to!) so nail varnish remover is a highly important product for me! I change my nail colour every Monday :)

So today I am discussing the Bourjois 'Magic Nail Polish Remover' I heard a lot of good things about this product so I thought I would take advantage of the Boots 3 for 2 offer (I can't resist this offer) I already was buying 2 things anyway so I was like 'why not!' This product costs £4.99 although I have used something similar for under £1 I think in Home Bargains, but anyhow this product is AMAZING.

So basically it's like a little pot with a sponge inside and you just pop you finger in and twist it a bit and magically the nail varnish comes off. Admittedly it doesn't take '1 second' but it is very good nevertheless :) It claims to have a 'red fruit and vanilla fragrance' now I'm not sure if it smells like this....  but it doesn't smell horrible, like other nail polish removers I have used! It is acetone free which is better for your nails (I believe)

I look a bit weird when I use this because it is usually on the way to work... (Not allowed nail varnish at Waitrose) Literally twisting my fingers in a pot whilst walking along but still! I can accept this since it gets it off a lot quicker!! Like it says 'no cotton wool' which is also really good because it gets all stuck and fluffy, plus means my cotton pads can be used only for my face and last longer! Yay!

The only downside is that it doesn't really work for glittery nail polish. If you used glitter as a top coat like I do, it takes away the under colour coat and leaves the glitter there still!! But then the glitter comes off a lot easier with a standard nail varnish remover afterwards! If you don't use glitter on your nails, it will work a treat and trust me you won't be disappointed :) I'm trying to have a glitter cleanse anyway, my nails are in such a sad condition! :(

OH, another thing, if you have short fingers like me you may struggle a little, the product is at the bottom or the pot, but the sponge absorbs the remover so it isn't really an issue, I just wonder if it is even MORE effective if I could reach the bottom! (Apologies that this sounds strange....)

Also, the 2 nail polishes in my top picture are PERFECT for autumn, they are in the Raspberry shade and Berrycosmo (yes!! my blog name inspiration) Love these shades! I prefer Berrycosmo though...

Have you used this before? Do you love it as well?

If not, will you be going out to purchase this?

Thanks for reading,

Kayleigh
